My phone felt like it was burning a hole in my arm, pay attention next time goodnight.

Like he just drooped a mic and walked out after humiliating me infront of 87k people.

And Toni? Her 42 laughing emojis were still sitting there like grease stain on my dignity.

I couldn't sleep. at 1:47 am , I drafted 6 different messages and deleted them.

Next morning at calculus,vi walked in 3 minutes late and sat at the back row

David was there

I couldn't bring myself to look at him, my face was hot thinking about last night, the story,the comment, the DM

"it was navy blue"

I felt like if I look up I'd spill everything, that I was the girl he was messing with online, that I'd been awake till 2 am rewatching his story and viewing his page like an i***t.

So I stared at my notebook hard, like the quadratic formula was about to save my life.

For 10 minute, I didn't move, I didn't write, I didn't breathe too loud, all I could hear was Mr.Jay's voice. I waited for the class to end so I could get out before he noticed me.

Chairs scrapped, people started filling out, I grabbed my bag and put my books slowly into it so I could go out.

"Move"

A voice echoed, it sounded like a girls voice, I looked up, Toni

I froze, she was standing right next to me,arms crossed, staring down at me like I had stolen her seat.

"uh...." I said, before I could even finish talking, she said "move" again drooping her notebook on the desk between me and David. "This is my seat" she said

David didn't say anything, he just leaned back, watching, with that smile on his face, like he knew exactly what was happening.

I shoved my notebook into my bag and said

"I'm sorry I didn't know".

" You didn't know lots of things," Toni said

quietly,then she said "sit there you're doing calculus now"

I looked at her confused

"What?" she said"if you're gonna sit in my spot and stare at my boyfriend you might as well earn it"

David said "babe", "don't babe me" she said cutting him off without even looking at him.

"And you" she said pointing at me, "page 42", you've got 10 minutes before the next class".

Just like that I went from trying to avoid David to being stucked with doing calculus and Toni staring at me

My day just got worst
