The rest of the calculus was a blur, I'm not sure I heard anything Mr.Jay said, I didn't even dare write back. I spent the whole peroid pretending to take notes while actually replaying David's voice in my head.

When the bell rang, I grabbed my books and I slipped them into my bag so fast that they almost fell. David picked up his bag and said"see you around schedule buddy" and walked out before I could even say a word.

Lunch was lonely and the rest of the day was lonely and boring because I didn't get a glimpse of David again.

When I got home mom wasn't back from work yet, so I went straight to my room, took my bath and headed downstairs to grab something and eat. Then mom walked in and we ate together, she asked me how my day went ,and after telling her how boring my day was I went back upstairs to my room.

I couldn't sleep, I was just replaying David's voice in my head, then I remembered schedule buddies.

I was going to ponder on that all week.

The idea popped in, I picked up my phone..

updated a profile pic that looked a bit blur to avoid interaction with people. I created an anonymous social media account

I found David's profile immediately. I viewed his page, thousands of followers, pictures of him and his basketball teammates,at games, holding trophies, and his latest post First day back. New schedule already tried to kill me lol.

My thumb hovered over Add friend. my brain kept on saying "Don't do it, he'll never reply", but I did it anyway.

Friend request sent, then I threw my phone away soon I received a notification David accepted your friend request

I didn't breath for 8 seconds, my heart just didn't stop,it passed bags and moved out of my chest

I felt extremely happy.
