Pov Ethan
I had told Dylan to fix this and fix it he did but that i***t had her come to his office on my floor! I heard a noise and spirited to my office and slammed my door. s**t! that was close They were in there for a while. He came and told me how to give her an apartment so she wouldn't get suspicious.
I told him to tell her we did for some employees I mean we didn't but she didn't have to know that. I didn't like her taking the bus it was dangerous. The place was one of mine that I rent out. I mean what's one more lie? I was looking at the cameras again like a stalker watching her in the elevator she was doing a little dance.
When my office door slams open I look up and Dylan walks in with his hands stretched out. "Who's your daddy?" he said with a huge grin. "Not you and I should kill you for that little stunt you pulled." I said
"Oh Ethan just say thanks and move on." he said while laughing. "I'm not thanking you for doing your job." I said. He dropped on my couch I went back to looking at the camera. "Ethan this way past my job and you know it. I want a rasie." he said I was about to retort when I spotted the Jeff guy hugging Cali! I got up and went to my closet grabbing my jeans a plain shirt and my leather jacket.
"Dylan get your a** up and watch this camera I need to change." he got up and came over "what's going on man... Oh! who's that? " I had just finished changing when I heard Dylan yell "They just left together". f**k I came out quickly and grabbed my blacked-out motorcycle helmet.
"I'm leaving for the day. I said head for the door. I put my helmet on in case anyone sees me. Since my elevator is still not working!
Dylan was following after me telling me not to do anything stupid but my mind was set. That's my wife and I was sure as hell going to make it known. I turned around and said, "Give yourself a raise Dylan and take care of things see you tomorrow". I said going down the emergency exit. I ran as quickly as I could I finally got to the garage. I was out of breath god I need to start running again I got a bit lazy since I try to spend all my time with Cali.
I got on the motorcycle that I kept for emergencies and took off like a bat out of hell. I had to find them I searched they were on foot they couldn't have gotten far. I spotted them walking into an alley. Hopefully, they don't hear me coming.
I knew I didn't have the right to be angry but I was. She hadn't said she would give it a try but I also thought she wanted to try this.
I pulled into the alley and got halfway in and took my helmet off I shook my hair since I forgot to do it earlier. I yell for her "Calista" I yelled She stopped dead in her tracks. Her back going rigid she slowly turned around and the Jeff person followed. She turned pale when she confirmed it was me. "s**t" I hear her say.
Shit did I catch her trying to run off with her boyfriend? or was she embarrassed by me. I turn the bike off and put my helmet on the seat I get off and stood up tall with my arms crossed in front of my chest. She slowly started walking toward me with her little puppy following right behind her.
Jeff was sizing me up oh buddy make my day please I was saying to myself. He looked at Cali and asked, "Do you know this guy?" Cali responded "mmm yeah I do he's... he's a friend" she said nervously.
Wtf did she just say I was a friend? She looked at me and smiled "Hi Ethan" she said. "Calista, where were you two going, Babe?" I said sarcastically while staring at Jeff. Her eyes went huge when I called her Babe. "Jeff is a friend and he was just walking me to the bus stop Ethan." She calmly. "Right... sure he was" I say.
I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me away from him. Jeff immediately moves "Let her go man!" he yelled trying to intimidate me. I smile and turn my attention back to him.
I wanted to laugh... stepped up to him Calista grabbed my hand "Ethan please don't he is just a old friend...come on let's go." she begged "Too late honey" I pull my hand from her. "So Jason what is your issue here?" I said.
He looked at me "It's Jeff and being a friend she looks scared of you." he said. Cali stepped in between us "Jeff it's okay Ethan just caught me off guard don't worry. I'm fine" she said.
I didn't move but I said "I caught you off guard? why? were you doing something you shouldn't? Is this your boyfriend?" I say in a dangerous tone. She was about to say something when Jeff said "So what if I am? it wouldn't concern you either way." he said smugly at me.
I looked at Cali and bent down and whispered in her ear "How much do you like this guy? because I thought I made it clear the other day...your mine." I said
I stood straight and looked at Jeff again. I was cold towards Cali. I slowly pushed her to the side and stepped right toward Jeff. This caused him to step back. I could hear her asking me to stop.
"Well Jason...I would like to know who's a** I'm about to kick for thinking you could try to f**k my wife!" I yelled. His eyes went big. He looked at Cali "You are married?" he asked.
"Yes well I'm married but its fairly new. Plus you were just walking to the bus" she said sounding upset.
He looked at her and smiled "I will see you at work then. Sorry man I thought you were bothering her." he said I just stared at him. He said bye and left.
Once he was gone I looked back at my wife. "So Cali were you heading to the hotel down the street for some fun." I asked. Her eyes went big "Ethan how could you say that to me? I'm not that type of woman. I didn't know you were even here. why are you here? shouldn't you be working" She yelled at me.
"I was on my way to drop my boss's bike off at the shop and imagine my surprise when I see my wife walking down an alley with another man." I said before she could respond I look at her and I was so angry that I blurted out something I shouldn't have.
"Look Calista we are married and I told you I wanted to give us a shot but it seems you don't. Listen closely to me I'm still legally your husband so try not to act like Jade. The word might spread that my wife is indeed a wh0r3." I spat with so much venom.
She started crying. My chest got tight I didn't like to see her cry and to know I'm the reason she was. I turned and hopped back on my motorcycle I need to get away. "Don't wait up" I said. "Ethan please let me explain." she said but I need to get away from here. I was struggling to understand what this feeling was. I looked at my finger I took the ring off and throw it on the ground. I took off and just left her crying in the alley.
I drove until I reached the beach. I pulled over and stared at the ocean. F**k What did I do? why did I say those thing? I grabbed my phone and called Dylan maybe he had a way to undo everything I did.
"Dude please tell your not in jail again." he said.
"I'm not but I f**ked up man. I said some horrible things to her. How do I fix this?" I say and I didn't stop there I kept talking "I don't know what came over me. The moment she called me her friend I saw red and I just said things to hurt her." I said.
I waited for him to say something but he started laughing why did I call him crap. "Oh man! You are f**ked Bro." more laughter. Did I miss something?
"You know what f**k you, Dylan." I said I was about to hang up. "wait wait" he was yelling. Look man what you just experienced is called Jealousy. You are only married to her but you have to make her fall in love with you man. I mean she is hot but..." he said.
"Don't speak about my wife like that! or you're next!" I threatened.
"Okay, relax... All I'm saying is give her something to love about you. Why don't you take tomorrow off and just spend the day with her? She doesn't seem to be the type for a fancy restaurant or anything oh why don't you take her to coney island that amusement park? Let her see you have some fun." he said.
Take one of your sports cars to drive with the top down. Tell her you borrowed it from me buy everything ahead of time and say you called in more favors don't tell her you spent money. From what you say she doesn't like to spend ohhhhh and go get a rose not a bunch just one single one with thrones and make it seem like you picked from someone's garden." he said.
"Idk man that isn't me." he said.
"Bro, how are you so smart about everything but women? it's not about you Ethan! it's about her." he said. Alright if he thinks this will work.
"Okay, thanks this better work Dylan." I said and hung up. I had missed calls from her. I need to get back to her.
But there was one thing I did want to give her. With my plan In place, I took off.
