I bend down beside her head and place my hand on the crescent moon and on instinct I place my other hand on the owl. Suddenly there is another white glow however this time it is brighter than from the door. I close my eyes to shield them from the light and when it is gone I open my eyes to see the most otherworldly violet eyes I have ever seen. The chains are gone and the wolf is staring right at me. In my mind I hear a woman say “Thank you for freeing me Beth. I have been waiting for you to find me and set me free.”
