Morticia gasped. With a swift movement, she pulled the duvet over Klaus, sitting up and grinning awkwardly at her mother. "Hey, Mom," she breathed, wondering if her mother had caught her sudden movement. Klaus stirred beneath the duvet, and Morticia quickly pinned his head down. Her mind raced, concerned that she might have hurt him. She heard him groan softly. "What are you doing here, Mom?" Morticia raised her voice, hoping to distract her mother.
