Alice eventually calmed down after what seem like a lifetime. She hiccuped in between with her head resting on Jovy’s legs. Jovy patted her gently on the back like one would nurse a baby to sleep. She had never seen Alice so broken for a long time and she had almost thought that there was nothing that could break her best friend anymore.
When her first boyfriend had deflowered her and left her the very next day, Alice had been up and running the next day.
