Xiao Sheng opened his eyes and rubbed them. He placed his feet on the ground, fixed his bed, and went to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth.
Once he was done, he went downstairs and smelled a delicious aroma coming from the kitchen.
As he entered the kitchen, he heard laughter—both male and female voices.
Xiao Sheng called out to his system to ask, "Did his wife come home? What time did she come back?"
[Yes, host, the woman came home at exactly 3 a.m.]
"Okay, thank you, system," Xiao Sheng said as he combed his long hair.
As he walked into the kitchen, the man who was cooking looked at him and greeted him with a smile. "Good morning, A-Sheng. Did you sleep well?"
The woman, who was acting lovingly, looked towards Xiao Sheng, who was wearing a thin nightgown, and raised her eyebrows. "Who is he? Are you cheating on me?"
Xiao Sheng almost laughed but kept a polite smile on his face. "Good morning, brother. Is this your wife? Hello, Ma'am."
Wang Feng just shrugged his shoulders and pulled out an empty chair for Xiao Sheng. "Here, take a seat, A-Sheng. This is Hui Fen."
Xiao Sheng sat in the chair that Wang Feng pulled out for him. "Thank you, brother. Hello, Ma'am Hui Fen. I am Xiao Sheng, a gardener hired by Brother Feng."
Hui Fen looked at the two men being affectionate in front of her, making her hair tingle. "A gardener?"
Xiao Sheng nodded and smiled before thanking Wang Feng, who was serving him food. "Yes, a gardener. I promise I will take good care of your plants and flowers, Ma'am Hui Fen."
Hui Fen bared her teeth but tried to ignore the affectionate actions of her husband toward this guy. She gave a fake smile and nodded. "Then I thank you for that."
Xiao Sheng wickedly smiled in his heart at her reaction. "You're welcome, Ma'am!"
Wang Feng couldn't help but feel annoyed when their conversation continued, ignoring the food on the table. "Xiao Sheng, stop talking and eat."
Xiao Sheng nodded twice and started to eat the food that Wang Feng had prepared. "It tastes good, brother! I really wish to find someone like you."
Xiao Sheng's joke stirred the hearts of both people at the table.
Hui Fen wanted to pull this man out of their mansion right now.
Wang Feng wanted to take the little guy into his arms and pamper him with kisses.
Meanwhile, Xiao Sheng kept eating until he suddenly burped. "I... I'm sorry." His eyes turned red as if he were on the verge of crying.
Wang Feng rubbed his head. "It's fine, A-Sheng. It's normal."
But Hui Fen found it disgusting and unmannered. "Didn't your parents teach you any manners?"
Xiao Sheng smirked internally, thinking "checkmate."
Xiao Sheng was stunned and tears rolled down his cheeks. He stood up. "I... I'm going back to my room." He left without looking back, ignoring Wang Feng's calls.
Xiao Sheng entered his room, locked it, went to his bathroom, locked that door too, and then went to his closet to find a jumper and a white crop top. He returned to the bathroom to take a bath, enjoying the ongoing fight downstairs and the cold water hitting his warm body.
[Host, that was so good,] the system said, accompanied by robotic claps.
"That's the White Lotus," Xiao Sheng said as he wiped his body with a dry towel.
[Host, the two people downstairs are fighting badly, and Wang Feng doesn't look so good,] the system reported.
"That's fine. At least there's a small crack in their relationship," Xiao Sheng said as he buttoned his jumper.
He unlocked his door and went to his closet to open his suitcase, but a hand stopped him. "Where are you going?"
Xiao Sheng shook his head and tried to remove the man's hand while tears streamed down his face. "Mister, please take your hands off me."
Wang Feng was stunned by how Xiao Sheng addressed him. "What did you call me?"
Xiao Sheng turned around, facing the man with tear-stained cheeks. "Please take your hands off me, mister. I don't want to bother you anymore. I'm going to find a new job and place."
Wang Feng sighed and tried to rub Xiao Sheng's head, but the boy dodged. He clenched his hand and sighed. "Little guy, you're not a bother to me at all. So don't leave, okay? Brother is worried for you. What if someone tries to do something bad to you again?"
"Xiao Sheng can handle it, brother. A-Sheng doesn't want to break your relationship with your wife," Xiao Sheng said, sobbing.
Wang Feng used his free hand to wipe Xiao Sheng's tears. "You don't need to worry about that, A-Sheng. It's already falling apart."
Xiao Sheng tilted his head to rub his chubby face on the man's hand but didn't stop crying. "Was it because of me?"
Wang Feng shook his head and smiled bitterly. "It's not because of you; it's because of me."
Xiao Sheng frowned and was about to use his clean clothes to wipe his snot when the man used his white tee instead. "Why?"
Wang Feng sighed as he answered Xiao Sheng's question. "Because I'm an eunuch and impotent. I can't use my 'things' to make my wife happy."
Xiao Sheng cried even more upon hearing this, making Wang Feng panic. "But... that's not enough reason... you can both be happy without sex."
Wang Feng smiled when he heard this from the little guy and sighed. "That's not what other people think. But I'm glad you're not one of them, A-Sheng."
Xiao Sheng buried his face in the man's chest and smirked, feeling the hardness of the man's chest. "If A-Sheng found someone who has the same condition as brother, I would make him happy and not neglect him. I wouldn't leave the house without him so he wouldn't feel abandoned."
Wang Feng felt happy but also annoyed. Silently, he promised himself that his little guy wouldn't find someone new.
