Chapter -12

Nandhini's pov

Who the f**k is he? Why is even looking at me? god from where these idiots keep coming. I brought a coffee and burger as I was starving. I sat in a empty table looking at our company's revenue. it was going really well but I am working on a new deal for the past three months so our company could grow. we worked on this clothing company from very young age as me and mrunal was interested in fashion very much. At first we just starting by arranging a few designers where we would give them credits for their work and we would deliver those with some small shops. As time went by our revenue also started to grow so we hired our designed and signed their work as ours.

Flashback

We just started our company and it is going really well but we needed some dealers so we can grow somemore. Mrunal is also interested in designing so she is helping the designers as much as she could. My job is to secure the company's revenue and look for dealers. So, I asked my designers to prepare some sketches as I managed to secure an appointment with a company. Our designers gave our best of them so we can get our deal. I am now waiting in the lobby waiting for the receptionist to call me in. After some 30 minutes the receptionist told me to go into the cabin. I was nervous but our company needs this deal. I put on my confidence mask and went in. A woman around her 40's sat the desk and when I went in she looked at me up and down and told me to sit down. I sat down and gave her my file and opened my laptop to explain my plan. she looked at me and only said " start speaking! I don't have all day". I started speaking "So Mam, our company has gotten really popular over a short period of time and the over 50% of our customers are young women in their 20s and 30s who are satisfied with our products and around 30% of our customers are women in their 40's and we are trying to expand our company right now! so, our company would really like to have our designs in your shops which is all over the state. I also gave you our sketches which we will be preparing for your shops and these dresses will be exclusive to only and only your shops." I finished. she put on her glasses and started looking at the sketches. "hmm, impressive for kid" she said. "but... why do you think I would put these dresses on all of our shops" she asked me. " well, you don't have to. you can put these dresses in nearby cities first and if those dresses are liked by the customers, we can expand our contract into every one of your shops." I told her. "hmm! seems like a good one" she said. After a long time of thinking and asking me about our company she said " okay! i will take the deal but the contract will be only for 4 months. If your products are a success in 3 months you can prepare another contract for a year for the seasons which will be for all of my shops. Also I except atleast 10 more designs by the end of this week and a product of your choice to be ready." she finished. " ok mam. but our designers won't be able to give you 10 more designs by the week but we can prepare 6 designs and I am okay with all other conditions of yours mam" I finished confidently. she looked strangely for some reason and sighed "okay be ready with it and I'll send you the contract tomorrow. You are not the only partner right?" she asked " yes mam, my friend Mrunal singhania is also a partner of this company mam" " gud.. you can leave now. Also I hate lousy workers or defects in my products or any of the order." she said seriously. " you can trust us mam and thank you for taking the time." I said before walking out.

I went straight to the company to give this big news and when I entered everyone was looking so tensed. I went to mrunal and she asked me what happened? did we get the deal?" I shook my head and went to my cabin. I know everyone is so happy because I heard happy cheers of them. Mrunal came into the cabin and danced. "come on nanz lets go celebrate this" she said. "nope! we are not celebrating anything until our first order goes smoothly. we have so much work to do. Tell everyone to come in. we need to have a meeting now." I said to her. She just nodded her head and minutes later everyone gathered in my cabin and took their places. I told them about our plans and that everyone's task what needs to be done will be given by tomorrow morning. I asked them to finish their works on other projects by tomorrow. They all shook their heads and went out. The designers stayed back and asked me to hire more workers so we could do this without too much workload. I nodded my head and they all went out. "how are we going to hire more workers nanz?" mrunal asked me. "I don't know mrunal" I told her and rested my head on the table and fell asleep.
