THE SUBWAY RATTLED through the tunnel while Will tried to ignore the stares from the other passengers. Link seemed oblivious to the attention they’d drawn. He leaned on a partition beside a door, staring straight ahead, still twitching and nodding to his hidden music. His lips moved, but no words emerged. Will gripped an overhead bar, balancing against the movement of the train. “Where are we going?” Link blinked at him as if remembering he was there. “Three more stops. After St. Patrick.” Will hadn’t traveled the subway in years, but he knew his city, having walked so many versions in Dream. They’d started at St. Andrew on the University line. Next stop was Osgoode, then St. Patrick, then… “Queens’ Park?” Link shrugged. “After St. Patrick.” Will started to question the strange reply
