She opened the door and saw a tall man standing in her office. He was backing her so she couldn't see his face but she could tell that he wasn't Leonard.
"Who are you?" She asked stepping into the office slowly.
"Is it that long that we met that you've already forgotten about me??" She heard him say and recognized him immediately.
"Carl." She called and he turned back to face her.
"We finally meet again, Jasmine." He said.
"What are you doing here?? I thought you had left." Jasmine asked in surprise.
"Well I couldn't leave without talking to you. You're one of the reasons I came here." Carl stated with a smile on his lips.
His words and smile seemed so genuine that Jasmine almost lost herself but she was able to recover from it quickly when she remembered the necklace he had bought.
