Chapter twelve

I opened my eyes and I was in my bed in my room at the cabin in The Great Waters pack. My twins and my body jumped up as my mother came over and told me to calm down. The twins are fine I asked and she said yes they will bring them to me in a little bit. Mother asked how I was feeling? And I looked around the room to see my father walk into the room. I feel strange like I have been hit by a Mack truck but I feel stronger. Well sweetheart no more taking in extra power til you are comfortable with the power you have built up. What do you mean the power I have taken in? The young witch and that warlock you destroyed their powers are in you now we need to see how the powers have effected before you go around the twins. Okay let me get dressed and I will meet you down stairs I told my parents. Putting my hair up and snapping on a comfortable outfit. I walked down the stairs to see my parents and alpha with Emily looking at me strangely ok I asked let’s get this over so I can play with my babies.

Okay dad said keep is simple at first pick up that old log. Okay no problem I lifted it by just looking at it. Wow I said that was to easy am I ok I asked my father and he said yes so far my father said. But we noticed you are levitating when you walk. Wow really I asked yes it could subsided or you will levitate from now own. So I will have to be concentrate when I am in the ordinary realm. Yes dad said we don’t need you floating around scaring humans. Levitate now and that was no problem as I floated over to Emily and hugged her and told her thanks for taking care of the twins. And she hugged me back and said always together. Dad said to hit that tree on the other side of the clearing. So I didn’t and it exploded what was that Alpha John asked? To much power dad said okay try to control the amount of power you release dad said. I focused on the power and only sent out a small amount of power that time. Okay I can see your babies now and mother was bringing the girls out the door.

Alpha John asked what happened at the golf game that caused her to be even more powerful. Basically she killed a warlock to save my life and the powers from the warlock shot into her so quick it knocked her out. And it looks like while she was asleep the new power regenerated her. I have never seen a witch destroy a warlock. Warlocks are naturally stronger than any witch. I wonder if the moon Goddess you wolves worship gave her stronger abilities. I have been noticing her strength is becoming more powerful. Well Alpha John said I am glad she is on my side. True as I told him I am going to need you and Emily with her mother to help with the babies so I can work with her controlling her new squired powers. Sure Alpha John said the twins are our main priority. Thanks and we will have to have a round of Warlock golf soon..

I grabbed my twins into my arms and told them how much I missed them. How long was I asleep I asked and mother said two days. I just looked at her and said really that’s crazy I guess I over done it. But I couldn’t let them hurt dad. And mother said she was very impressive the way I save dad. And as I looked at the twins playing in my arms and was so relieved it worked out great and my family was safe. So the threat from the counsel has that warlock or witch been found. And he has been found but the so no longer a threat to you or the twins. You shouldn’t have been able to takeout such a powerful warlock. We need to find what kind of powers the warlock had. And how you can use them to your advantage now that the powers belong to you. What about his covenant will they come inquiring about Brine and his family if he had one? We will look into everything but the covenant and counsel are aware of everything that happened and has inquired about you and if your okay. What do you remember dad asked? I remember watching a shifty warlock and I stopped him and had Brine the one you were one against struck a bolt of electricity at you and me and mother put up a shield and mother said she had it and I throw everything I had at him and then his power hit me and I looked at you and mother and the two of you were fine. Kershaw asked if I realized I imploded a warlock his power that hit me was what left him you received and the young witches power. I need to work with you til we make sure you are okay and safe. To much power can be to dangerous and you where a powerful witch before the recent events. We need to level the powers out and find out what kind of powers you have now. And you levitating tells me your body has an abundance of power. Anything crazy side effects yell and I will come to you. And mother and father said bye. And Emily asked if she should stay and I told her to go enjoy some time with her Alpha me and the twins would be fine.

After everyone left I got the twins fed and ready for bed as we laid on a blanket in the floor and played til time for bed and I snapped my bed in the twins room and we all three curled up together in bed as I watched the twins play themselves to sleep. I laid their thinking about Brine and there was something undone in his life I wasn’t sure what it was but I felt like he was not at rest. I watched my two adorable little witches and knew I would do whatever I had to do to protect them. After getting up and putting my bed back were it belonged. Got the girls fed and dressed I made a portal directly to my parents home. And they where in their den enjoying some quiet time. As I strolled the twins in with their stroller they started cooing for their grandparents. And of course they grabbed the twins and started playing with them. Dad asked what’s up? Brine will not be at rest til I figure out what his undone business is? Can you help me figure that out I asked my dad? And dad just looked at me and said no this is something you will have to do on your own. Why I asked what is he not telling me? Your mother doesn’t like me being around his wife she has always had feelings for me we dated for awhile but when I met your mother I fell in love and broke up with Grace. But she met Brine not long after we broke up. I am sure it had something to do with Grace. Where do I find this Grace I asked? I heard she ran off to some deserted island off the Keys. Watch the twins I asked my parents? Yes go find Grace and get this over with dad said! I used a portal to Christmas Island and looked around over the island. And there was a witch in a cabin right in the center of the island. Hello as I knocked on the door I could tell someone was in their my I got no answer. So I waited on the porch til she came to the door and asked me to go away. I said I wish I could but Brine would not let me. I can feel him inside of you. Yes I am sorry but he tried to destroy my dad. She looked at me and said yes I know who you are and who your dad is. Brine has some unfinished business do you know what it is I asked her? Looking at me she asked how I was going to fix Brine’s unfinished business. Well I need to know what it is and what he wants me to do first. It’s his parents he was trying to save them from another warlock that took them hostage. Where is this warlock and what’s his name I asked? Charles Caveat a very powerful warlock. Thanks and I am truly sorry for your lose I told Grace. Making my way to a very private estate I knew some about this Charles Caveat. I snapped myself a very sexy outfit on and my cloak to cover me being a witch. I pressed the door bell and and older butler answered the door. Good evening madam the gentleman said as he looked me over. I asked if Lord Charles was home and he let me into the small library off the main entrance. After a little bit a tall warlock came in and greeted me asked what he could do for me. He looked familiar I tried to figure what where I had seen his face before. I was told you had some unfinished business with Brine that needs to be put to rest so he leave me alone. My parents last engagement we danced together I told Charles and he said yes that’s why he came to see me personally. He wondered when he would hear from me again? Well here I am I told him. Is there something you would like to talk about I asked him. He said that he has thought about me quite often since that night. And I told him I had enjoyed that night as well. Can I ask you why does Grace think you have Brine’s parents hostage I asked? And he said because he does have them hostage. Looking at him I asked why and he said he needs information. Well Brines died can you let his parents go please. And Charles asked how I knew Brine was died? I looked at him with distain in my voice. You have a elderly couple hostage and I should tell you how and why. I suggest you start talking and I mean right away I told him as I walked right up into his face. Are you serious he asked a fragile witch is standing up to a warlock. I looked Charles in the face and asked if I could touch his face and he stood there for a minute and then he agreed to let me touch his face I walked up and put my hand onto his handsome strong jowl line and I started to see his past up to the present. And Charles then looked me in the eyes and asked what was that? And I told him I looked at his past and his feelings. He asked what I saw? Not what I expected I told him and asked how he found it about the twins? And he told me to come with him! So I did and we walked through a portal into England and there was a set of male twins and I could tell they were hybrids too. And Charles told me it’s his job to protect them. And wanted to find the other set of hybrids. I touched his face again to show him how I destroyed Brine and to let his parents go so they could go mourn their son. We walked back through the portal and I looked into Charles face and told him it wasn’t time for him to see the other set of twins. Charles let Brine’s parents go and after their release he looked at me and asked for a kiss.
