Chapter: three. ***~*** Just wait a little longer, my Beauty. "I-I need him," he bawled bitterly as he tried to bite down on his lower lip to hold the wrecking sobs threatening to drown him. "H-he needs me." He choked out and buried his face into his Dad's neck. For a moment there, the confused fathers exchanged looks as to who their son referred to, and when nothing came to mind, Markus decided to press further for more information. "Who, baby?" Levon cried harder, there was no helping it. It hurts too much he couldn't have conved his emotions any other way. "My Danny." He whispered. Who knew answering questions could get so difficult. Danny? The single thought on both parents' minds. That was the name of their son's imaginary friend but they haven't heard him talk about this friend since his eleventh birthday. Why the sudden remembrance? The question lurking in their minds but they decided against it and rather chose another question, one that seemed more suitable for their current predicament. "Where can we find him?" Daniels asked. Levon finally removed his face from his Dad's neck to stare into their wet eyes. They love him too much. That much was evident in their concerned faces. They wanted to help. At that moment, Levon decided to tell them. ***~*** He didn't know if they believed him by the time he was finished relating his story to them but one thing was certain, they didn't seem amused by his confessions, or was there any spike of judgment in the depths of their loving gazes. Markus's eyes seem to widen as if he had suddenly remembered something and when both son and father saw the looks on his face they grew curious. "What is it, my love?" Daniels asked and Markus glanced at their son then back at his husband. "Remember, the family from the hospital?" He asked and for a moment there, Daniels seems to be lost in deep thoughts as he tried to recall. "Yes, Yes of course I do," he replied, remembering but then his mood shifted as he got even more confused. "What about them?" He inquired. "This?" Mark took their son's hand and showed him the birthmark. "Remember?" All the while the parents conversed, Levon sat there and watched in total bewilderment as he didn't want to interrupt whatever they have going on hoping they will explain once they're finished. Markus on the other hand felt it might be of help since a certain connection was established from the second the other parents of the boy saw their son's birthmark. If what their son has just said is true then maybe, the baby from that hospital might have been their baby's soulmate. Stupid as it may sound, Markus wanted the happiness of their son. He has suffered so much, it ached their hearts, made them restless, seeking solutions to problems they couldn't find. "My love, it's just a birthmark and it could be a coincidence they both shared the same, I bet there are more kids in the world with the same birthmark, it's nothing special." Daniels started but now the whole birthmark conversation had piqued Levon's curiosity and he couldn't keep quiet anymore. "I want to go there!" He blurted out and his parents gawked in shock at his sudden utterance. "Why?" Mark asked. "If he is the one then I must find him for sure," Levon explained. "It's been seventeen, almost eighteen years, what if they moved?" Dan tried. "At least I know I've tried but I can't sit here anymore and just wait, especially not now that you have mentioned the birthmark. I gave that mark to him myself and if it truly is my Danny then he will remember me once he sees me again and I will know him for certain." Levon wiped tears from his face and sat up, staring hopeful eyes into those of his parents. "Are you sure about this, Levon?" Dan seemed skeptical with this whole development. "What if we are wrong and he turned out to be the wrong person?" "I'd at least know that I have tried, Dad," Levon whispered, he hoped this was his Danny and he hoped he would still be there, waiting for him and that's enough to go find him. "There is nothing wrong with trying, Daniel, let him go." Mark seemed to be more on their son's side. He would do anything to end his suffering and if this would do that, then, by all means, Levon has his full support. "You'll be leaving your friends, football, and everything behind." Daniels tried to convince him but at this point, he knew his words fell into deaf ears. "I'll transfer school, please, Dad, I need this." The desperation in his voice had Daniels agreeing with the boy in a heartbeat. They won't be able to go with him to HillsBay but they sure have a way of having him move there and if in the end, this was all non-existent then the boy will surely return home. "Fine, but you have three months to find this soulmate and if in three months you don't find him you must return home and move on, never to speak of this Danny again." "YES!" The boy cried out victoriously as he fist-bumped the air and got on his feet. "Promise me, Levon?" Daniels requested and Levon laughed. "I promise, Dad if in three months I couldn't find him, I will return and never speak of this again." "Good, go pack your things while your father and I make the arrangements." "Thank you, I love you both!" Levon kissed both parents and rushed off to his room. ***~*** "Are you sure he didn't read this from an adult novel when he was a boy and this idea got stuck into his memory since then?" Daniels asked his husband and the other just shrugged with a slight chuckle. "Who gave him the novel, dearest husband?" Mark went forward and draped both arms around his husband's shoulders. "Did you? Because I didn't." He kissed his nose lightly and his lips lingered on the nose for a bit before he drew back. "Hey, no teasing," Daniels whined and Mark laughed. "What do we do now?" Mark inquired, more worried now than he was before. "Call, Stephanie and find out if she still lives in HillsBay and if yes then we might have him transferred to HillsBay High while he lives with her, I think it will be good for him and if peradventure it's true what he has said then he might find his soulmate waiting there," Daniels kissed his husband softly on the lips and the other moaned slightly. "Either way, we would have solved this problem once and for all." Markus agreed with his husband and quickly got up to make the needed calls. Hold on just a bit longer for me, my Beauty. ***~***
