Miracle
Despite the nagging in my head and the growing fear that something terrible was about to happen, I pushed myself to go to Dani's movie premiere.
Dani had told me to relax and that worrying wouldn't change the future. She especially disagreed with me lying to Leonel about Ariel, fearing his temper would make things worse. But knowing Leonel, I couldn't shake the feeling that if he found out, things would blow up.
As far as I knew, Ariel hadn't told Lenny the truth yet. If she had, all hell would have broken loose, and Lenny would be celebrating.
Leonel greeted me with a wolf whistle and a bear hug when I modeled the ridiculously expensive black dress I bought for the premiere. The velvet hugged my curves perfectly, showing off just enough cleavage without being too revealing.
