Escaped?

I was huffing profusely. The sky which I was facing while lying on the ground soon turned into the face of my instructor. “You have improved a lot, young miss.” I was still in the process of catching my breath, and it seemed that if I didn’t get enough oxygen in time then I might die over there only. “What is going on?” We heard a heavy voice. My instructor, who was smiling a bit in my way, turned into a strict instructor and kept his distance from mine. “My Lord!” He greeted my father while I too stood on my feet. I looked at my father who was, as usual, putting a cold expression in my way. “How is she doing?” “She has improved a lot.” Though I wanted him to praise me, I know that it is something he won’t give me even if he dies. “Let me see how much she improved herself.” He kept on looking at me as if he was saying that ‘you are still not up to the bar, you are still that fragile brat.’ Those eyes were mocking me silently, but I also know that whatever his judgment he has made in these years were absolute, and he never made any mistake in them. So I know that if that is the look I am getting, that means that I am still below his Virtuosos men. My father has three categories to classify his army. Worst, Experts and the Adept. In the Virtuosos category, there are people who are stronger than an average powerful man. They are trained way too hard to be at that level, so if his Virtuosos man and a professional boxer are to be matched together, then the result is that his Virtuosos man would win. In the Experts Category, they suppress the Virtuosos category in a tremendous way. Their skills are sharper than those of the Virtuosos ones and the Adept category suppresses all of them, their skills are as sharp as a knife. But most of them have reached Experts only. There are, I guess, only ten people who have become his Adept man. “Charlie!” He called out to him, and he rushed as soon as he heard his name being called. I looked at his arm and he was wearing a red badge which signified that he was of the Virtuosos category. Blue is for Above Average and Green is for Adept. They are all provided with a badge which depicts their level. “Fight with Viviana.” I looked at him and he was a bit nervous. “Don’t go easy on her or else you won’t be spared.” I could see that he was shivering and if he disobeyed his words, then death was the only thing that was awaiting him. “Don’t worry Charlie, you can go with your whole power.” I told him. “Then excuse me miss.” He said, and I was the one who started the attack, but in an instant, he blocked it off. I can’t expect anything less from them, either. “Young miss, keep on attacking, I will do defense only.” He said, and after that I kept on attacking him, but I wasn’t able to land any attack on him at all. I was getting tired, but he was still active and in a blink he took me and slammed me against the ground and with that I was left with no energy. “This isn’t even as good as what my Virtuosos man can do. This is what you mean by improving?” “I am sorry, my Lord.” I sat up on the ground, and he looked at me with those cold eyes. “You have to suppress my adept man to reach my level.” He said before making his way out from there. I really wish this ground would swallow me up. I was about eight years old at that time when he was expecting such a thing from me and today, at the age of 24, I am in the same category as Adept as I wasn’t able to defeat the top three adepts. I heard a shrill voice which brought me back to reality. I was currently running after successfully knocking out that man. I also thought that I might not be able to give him any damage, but that was something pretty amazing. I had practically climbed up on him and, with all my power, smashed his head against the broken cabinet. He might have thought that after going through so much I would have been weak, but that is where he went wrong. Underestimating me. Even though I made a successful escape from there, where should I run too? Wherever I am looking, all I can see is the woods. Is there any way for me to find the road? I looked behind and could no longer see that cabin, which was a good sign. I think I have been running for 15 minutes so it should be enough to leave that cabin a long way behind, but stopping here doesn’t mean that they can’t find me over here. I have to cover this forest as much as possible and have to make sure that they won’t catch me again. But right now I am hungry and also dehydrated. I don’t think that I will be able to make it a long way. I have to utilize the energy I am left with and search for a successful escape from here. I kept on running with everything I had inside me at that time. If somehow I reach home, will my father be happy that I am alive and returned to him, or would he be satisfied that he was finally able to get rid of his weak heiress? The second one seems more correct than the first one. I could already imagine what he might say once I was in front of him. “You have mocked my blood in a very entertaining way. How can one expect, from their future heiress, that she can’t even protect herself.” I stopped on my way and stood among the woods. Will it be worth it going back to my home?.... Is that place even a home? That place is full of people who can kill anyone if they are given orders, even if that person is related to my father. After saying that sentence, one name flashed into my mind. Ace…. I heard a voice which was very similar to a car. I followed the voice, and it led me to the road. I never expected that I would actually be able to find a road here. I thought that I might have to die over here only. I kept running along the road, but now I was at my limit. At a limit where if I don’t take a rest then I might actually die. I looked ahead and found a mini-bus coming from the front. I wanted to shout out, but my voice was nowhere to be heard, my body was aching all over, and it was telling me that I had to stop there only and was begging me to feed it something. Slowly I started to lose consciousness. If they saw me and saved me, then I would be grateful, but if not, then I guess I wouldn’t be able to leave here any time.
