Lunch was a complicated affair. Shaun wanted to speak with Carli and Samantha, and Ethan wanted Shaun’s attention. Shaun informed Sam of who Ethan was on the return trip from the airport. The fishing clients opted for box lunches to eat after they cleaned their catch, so it was only family and employees that crowded into the dining room. Sitting one chair to the right of the head of the long, wooden table, Shaun watched the interplay between Zach and Alyssa, Ray and his sisters, and was a little surprised by the amount of time Ethan spent observing Carli.
