18 Pulling her fur-edged coat closed and tightening the belt, she placed her oversized sunglasses on her nose and waited for the shuttle to take her from the terminal to the lot for rental cars. At least the clouds had drifted away, taking any precipitation with them. It would have added a layer of discomfort to attend the funeral during a snowstorm. Darla was thankful for the late spring climate, and the handsome van driver who insisted on loading her luggage.
