3 “This doesn’t make any damn sense,” Matt mumbled as he whisked off his hat and pushed his fingers through his hair. A few of the cowboys were working to drive the cattle through the gate to the acres of pasture. The rest were standing guard around the crime scene in the hopes that the forensics team would discover something left behind to explain what they had found.
