One of the perks of this business was the freedom of movement. If he didn’t like one town, for any number of reasons, he could move to the next one. It took only a couple of weeks to become familiar with a new place, their streets, business owners, and weather. Local taverns were often full of long-time residents who were usually eager to share information about the place they called home.
