He spent the next hour working with Susanne regarding his schedule and gathering the few personal items that decorated his office. Susanne had already put in extra hours the past few days in his absence. His attention was divided between settling his affairs at the firm, receiving well wishes from his colleagues, and wanting to be alone with Sam.
