Chapter 17- Confrontation

1084 Words
CHESTER I storm off while Zach and Wade follow after me. "Hey, man. Did you really have to?" Wade scratches his head. "Yeah, if you wanted to give her some, you should have ordered too to give her some," I say. "That's not it," Wade sighs. "Is it still going to happen later?" "Of course. I don't go back on my word," I say. I still f***ing hate her. And I hate how my dad treats her like she's his daughter. So she ought to be punished. "Say, you know. I really don't want to hurt her," Zach says behind me. "Then you can just keep yourself out," I say. "And let you guys have all the fun? No way," Zach hisses. "Then just follow my lead," I say. "Won't she tell on us, though? You know, since she is close with your dad and all," Wade says. "Nah, she wouldn't. I have my ways to keep her quiet," I say. Wade fidgets behind me, clearly uncomfortable with the whole thing. "Why are you being so fidgety? Don't tell me..." Zach nudges him. Wade attempts to fix his pants and attempts to cover his hard-on. Out of all of us, he can't seem to keep his horniness in check. "Ugh, take care of that first, will you?" I sigh. "Sorry, sorry! I'll be back! Just order for me!" He dashes off to the men's bathrooms. Zach chuckles. "I'll take care of it. What do you feel like having?" he asks. "A beef steak sounds good. And some grape juice." "Okay. Just find a seat for us," Zach says and then walks off to buy the food. I nod and look around, but the only seats available are where my little mouse and Nika are. So I sit beside them while I wait for Zach and Wade. I stare at my little mouse's side of the table. Seems like she really doesn't want to take that cupcake. Nika notices where I was looking, and she takes the cupcake. Then she smirks as she opens it. "Hey! Why are you opening it? I wanted to throw it away!" Says my little mouse. "Oh, I felt like craving a cupcake all of a sudden." She takes a bite out of it. What the f***. I clench my fists and glare at her while gritting my teeth. Nika smirks at me between bites. "Ugh, such a really tasty cupcake. Thanks." "Really? Was it that good?" My little mouse asks. "Yeah, too bad I finished the whole thing. I'll buy you a new one as an apology." She winks at my little mouse, then turns her face to me and smirks at me again. That little... I don't know what her plan is. But it's like she's out to ruin my attempts at making me win over my little mouse. I should confront her about it soon. My little mouse suddenly gets up and excuses herself to go to the bathroom. Perfect. Now I can talk to Nika before she comes back. So I make sure she is away, and then I stare at Nika, who is approaching with the cupcake wrapper. She slams it on my table and leans close to me. "Stay away from her," she stares at me. "She doesn't deserve you." "And you probably think she deserves you too," I say. "Yeah, since I'm her best friend. And you are nothing," she says. "Oh please," I shrug. "There are many ways to make her like me, but I refuse to elaborate." "You're barking up on the wrong tree," she says. "I won't let you hurt her." Hurt her? Who says I would? "You seem to know me pretty well. But I'll have you know, I don't hurt just about anyone unless they do something to me." She grins. "We'll see. I know for sure she'll believe me over you." "Because you're best friends?" I ask. "Precisely," she smirks evilly at me. I see now. I grin. "You're nothing but a snake," I say. Her eyes widen and she chuckles. "So? She wouldn't believe you otherwise. And I'm just protecting her from the likes of you." "Shouldn't it be the other way around?" I smirk. She grits her teeth at me. "Nope. You're more dangerous to her than me. So she'll choose me over you." "Well, we don't know that. Who knows? My little mouse could very well choose me over you." I smirk confidently. "You wouldn't dare," she hisses. "I know a lot more about her than you." "Are you sure? There might be things she doesn't say to you, you know." "Then I'll just ask her," she scoffs. "She'll tell me for sure." I smirk. So confident. "Well, good luck with that," I say. Then I wave at Zach as he heads on over with our food. He walks to me, and I stand up, getting the trays from him. "Sorry for making you wait," he says. "What were you talking about?" "Nothing important." I chuckle. "We should eat." "Indeed," he says. "That line took so long." He glances at my side. "That i***t isn't even back yet. Maybe he also did take a dump." I chuckle and stare at Nika, who is watching us in disgust. "We're at the cafeteria for heaven's sake." She storms off to search for my little mouse. WADE I head out from the male bathrooms, and then I see Thalia also heading out at the same time. I take her hand and she gasps. "Shh," I place a finger on my mouth. "What do you want from me?" She asks. "Can we talk?" I say. "What do you want to talk about?" She tilts her head at me. So innocent. I take out my phone to show her. "You want my number?" she asks. I nod. "No way. I don't give it out to just anyone." She says. I figured she would say that. So I show her some of the photos Chester sent me. Her eyes widen, and she glares at me. "How did you?" I move my phone away before she can delete it and place it on where she can enter her number. "More threats? D*** you all." She grits and types in her number. I smirk. "Just making sure I know how to reach you, darling." She shudders before walking away. "I hate you. All three of you." She'll come to love us soon enough. I just know it. I'll make sure of it.
