Twila followed Veronica, a little uneasy. She had never been around Vampires before. She knew they could be dangerous and she has been warned of them time and time again. The pine trees cast strange shadows that sent shivers down her spine.
They soon arrived at a pretty big house. "Wait here." Veronica said and went inside. She returned a minute later with a guy behind her. He had the same soft grey eyes as Veronica and the same jet black hair. He wasn't wearing a shirt and had a muscular build.
Hot Damn, talk about the devil in dusgise! This guy has it all! The build. The looks. The power.
"This is King." Veronica said. "I will leave you two to talk." she said walking away. King Studied her up and down. He seemed pleased. "What is your name?" he asked her, in a rugged and deep voice.
"T-Twila..." she stammered. "I-I am the Beta of the Nothern Pack." She noticed he looked at her with intrest. "Beta eh? You look more like a Luna to me." he said getting a little closer. Twila felt her skin pricking, she relized she was blushing. "W-well our Alpha.. He..."
"He uses his Luna's for play toys?" he asked. Twila looked stunned at how he knew, "Y-Yes he does... How did you guess?" King chuckled. "Well, a Beta who has turned down a position for Luna always has a reason. And normally that reason is easy to guess."
"Sounds like you know your facts about Werewolves. Might I ask how?" Twila asked studying his face. King laughed. "Lets just say I have hung out with some before." Twila looked at him and remebered the story her mother used to tell her and Shimmer about a baby vampire staying in camp for a little.
"D-did you know a Beta named Star Shine?" she asked looking at him. King nodded. "She was a very nice but stubborn Werewolf. She kinda looked like you actully."
Twila gasped.
