"It's finally happening, Simon..." A man with E/C orbs, who was sitting on a chair by the occupied bed, told him, rubbing the baby bump of the woman who was sleeping next to him. "I'm going to be a father...I'm finally going to be a father." The E/C man said repeatedly, a huge smile slowly forming on his face.
"I never thought you would be this excited, Y/F/N." Simon chuckled at his friend, lifting his foot from the ground and lean it on the wall behind him as he rest against it.
Simon turned his attention towards the sleeping woman, his fake smile fading and formed into a thin line, contemplating on how was he suppose to tell his best friend that the woman he thought he knew was a lie all along.
"Why wouldn't I?" Y/F/N gave him a look. "Being a father has been my dream, a great father." He look back down to his girlfriend's stomach, gazing it longingly as he run his hand across it. He leaned closer to the bump and whispered. "I promise you little one, I'll never let anyone hurt you."
Meanwhile Simon, behind the up coming father, gave his friend a sympathetic look. Y/F/N's the best person you'll ever meet, selfless, independent, understanding. How could a person like him be treated like this? How could Y/M/N do that despicable thing to his best friend.
-
"Why didn't you tell me?!" Y/M/N grabbed Simon by the collar, dragging him back towards the wall.
Simon felt the cold brick behind him, his friend's force squeezed out the oxygen in his body. His lips let out a low grunt, his hands slithered on his friends arm and tried to push it away.
"How c-could -I.." Simon said breathlessly to his friend. "The l-look on your face..when -you're finally...going to be a fa-ther. Who..am -I to ruin..it."
Y/F/N's grip slowly loosened, tears start to form in his E/C eyes. It wasn't Simon's fault, he shouldn't be taking his anger all out to his best friend, he was just looking out for him. It was all his fault to be frank, he should have known that that Y/M/N is married, all the sign's: the not announcing their relationship to public except Simon, Y/M/N not being able to take him home and introduce him to her parents, and the whole 'Wait 'til I'm ready' thing when he asked her for marriage.
Y/F/N hands slowly fell down from his friends collar, along with his body slouching down and fall to his knees. His loud sobs echoed throughout the alley he had pulled his friend into. Simon sighed, slowly going down to his friend's height and pat his shoulders softly, an apologetic look plastered on his face.
"..what am I going to do." Y/F/N helplessly said. "I practically just ruined a family.."
"It was not your fault, Y/F/N." Simon lightly swung him back and forth. "You didn't know, the hell. Y/M/N's the one to blame for all of this shit."
"I don't care on who's fault is it, Simon." Simon's friend replied. "I cared about Y/N, what will happen to her. She's too young- no, She's very young to experience what's coming towards her in the future and it's all because of me and Y/M/N."
-
"Hello? Y/F/N?" Simon answered after picking up his phone. Simon rocked his body, up and down repeatedly. Watching the one year old girl he's holding on his other arm.
"Simon..." He heard his friend croaked breathlessly at the other line, making him a slightly alarmed.
"Y/F/N." Simon's eyes narrowed, digging his ears closely to the speaker as if he had mistaken. "Y/F/N are you there? Are you alright? Speak to me."
"I'm..fine..Simon-" Y/F/N coughed, his voice slightly muffled at the low reception of the phone. "Y/M/N's going to pick up Y/N today, something urgent came up in the office so I won't be able to see her, and oh, you don't have to wait for me tommorow I'll just catch up with you at L.A."
"Again? Dude, you've been excited on meeting your daughter for the first time." Simon noticed Y/F/N release a dry cough again. "Are you sure you're alright?"
"Yeah, it seems I'm slightly catching a cold out here."
"Out here?" Simon was confused. "You said you're in the office."
"Oh...yeah I -uh." Simon heard his friend let out a forced chuckle. "I was about to but...I'm outside the entrance...phones had a bad reception inside."
"Oh.." Simon nod, though he sensed his friend was lying. "Okay.." His face then hardened, when his ears picked up an audible whimper coming from his friend on the other line.
"H-hey Simon." He hummed. "Can I speak to Y/N? Please?"
Simon pulled the phone away from his ears, his fingers pressing the loud speaker button in his phone.
"Little one...it's me"
From Simon's arm, you spit out the titter you were chewing recognizing the voice that you've always heard only on phones and placed your hands on either side of the phone." Da...da.."
"Y-yes, it's me little one." Simon could hear his friend's voice slightly waver, like he was about to cry. "Always remember that I love you, Y/N, very much."
"Wuv..da.." You replied, swinging Simon's arm forcefully. "I already miss you, baby girl." Your father said.
No matter how Y/F/N hide it, Simon can still hear him sniffle from the other line. "And Simon.."
"Yeah?"
"Promise me you'll take care of her."
Simon nodded. "I will."
"Even if your life depends on it?"
"I will, with my life." Simon declared. "Y/N's like a family to me now, Y/F/N."
"Okay, take care of yourself too, Simon." Y/F/N breathed shakily. "Goodbye, my friend."
-
"That was the last time I've heard your father's voice." Simon finishes, staring at his hands as he fiddled with it. "Then, four days later, I recieved a call from your mother that she already gave your father a proper burial."
You were in tears at the moment, after hearing Simon's story. Even for the last time he still wasn't given the chance to meet you. You imagined how hard it is for your father, even just a slight glimpse he wasn't given a chance.
Your mother, thinking about her made you feel a burning sensation in your chest, it wasn't painful, it was as if you wanted to take it all out on something. At first you were only angry that you've been neglected and left, but now there were new reasons for you to get angry with her.
She knew, she knew who killed your father, and she didn't do anything. She never even fought justice for him. Your eyes switched back to Simon, bloodshot and tired from all the crying.
You leaned back to your seat, feeling yourself getting limper and limper. "And to answer your question, earlier, Y/N. Yes, I planned it all out." He informed. "But not only me."
"When your brother, Brad, revealed your identity, it gave me the idea of you returning back to England. When I heard you sing, I knew you got your father's amazing talent." He explained. "But it wasn't only me who had that idea."
"So you're saying that..after all this time.." You trailed off.
Simon nodded his head. "Your mother missed you so much, Y/N, even if her decisions were against mine. I'll be honest with you, I don't like your mother getting near you, but she still had her ways. Y/N, everything that has ever happened to you, that you can't explain why it happened," Simon paused, leaning closer on his desk while his voice dripped into a soft whisper.
"Your mother has something to do with it."

"Pick up..pick up.." Lauren mumbled to herself, grabbing a pair of heels sitting on the side of the marbled sink and head out of the bathroom.
The edge of the bed sunk as she sat, raking her hands frustratingly through her hair as she tries to call Brad. She's been trying to contact him since New year's Eve, it has been days and the boy still haven't talked to her. She groaned when the other line declined her call and tossed the phone behind her to the middle of the bed.
She leaned over, sliding one heel on her foot before strapping it with the leather band that ties around her ankles. She switched onto the other stretching her hand but found it hard to reach, making her groan again.
Her mind flashes back with memories. She remembered you helping with her heels, your E/C eyes making her stomach go summersaults as you softly gazed at her, your pinkish lips formed into a soft smile while you look up to her after you strapped her heels around.
Thinking about you put a smile on her lips that she never noticed.
Her smile suddenly faded, shaking her head out of reverie. She regretted it, she regretted when she did not defend you on those awful rumors.
"Don't you dare, Lauren." Brad told her, grabbing her by the wrist.
"Why wouldn't I? Brad?" She responded. "Y/N needs me. If it wasn't for your stupid band mates this issue wouldn't happen."
"Oh come on, the issue is nothing, Lauren." Brad snorted, releasing her hand. "Just like any other, it'll pass."
"Still, Don't you think how much this will affect Y/N? Your sister?" Lauren told him. "Y/N's still new of being a celebrity and me, being concern about her, want to guide her way through this sometimes shitty life."
Lauren head towards the door and twist the knob. She froze from the words that left her boyfriend's mouth.
"If you walk through that door we're over."
"Are you okay there? Lauren?"
Lauren snapped out of her daze when a familiar voice asked from next to her. Camila watched Lauren carefully, noticing a slight sadness in her eyes and what it seems to be the heaviness of her lips that Camila find it sifficult for her friend to smile.
"It's Y/N again, isn't it?" Lauren's orbs briefly switched to her friend before nodding her head. "Lauren..."
Lauren regretted it, as hell. She was so selfish that she chose herself first and let you suffer from all those people who only speak hurtful words. She was stupid to fall for Brad's threat of breaking up with her when as of now, when she chose him and be selfish, he had still broken up with her.
"I'm so stupid, Camila." Lauren stated, burying her face in in her palms. "I'm beyond stupid, I can't even explain how stupid I am." Camila hushed, giving her friend a sympathetic look while she rubbed her hand around her friends back. She watched her friend finally break in front of her, not only the person she loved broke up with her but the person who she slowly feels that she couldn't end the day without seeing despised her, that made her hate herself more to the point where she can't even focus on the things around her.
"I don't know if what's wrong with me..but..I miss her." Lauren looks up to her band mate, her eyes blood shot red from crying. "I miss her, Camila, more than Brad. I know well that Y/N hates me, but I want her back in my life.
"I want her back in my life so f*****g bad."
