You pushed the door close behind you with your foot and let out a tired sigh while dropping your suitcases on the floor. You explore deeper inside your room. Your bedroom consist of shelves full of books lining up the walls, desk, medium sized bed with Favorite/C duvet and beige curtains lined up neatly by the windows covering you from the sun. All giving off comfortable feeling.
First week of December, thankfully the tour's been paused for the upcoming holiday. Though the question still in your mind is that, why here in a countryside? You always thought you'll be spending the holidays in L.A where you'll be able to focus on your work -only if you wanted too though. But hey, you're not complaining. You rather much spend the holiday at a country side than in a city.
Besides that, the girls rooms were at the opposite side of the hallway, the left wing of the house. It was a good news for the girls that the management had the decency to rent a huge house for two bands to use, last time they went on a holiday on tour they had to spend the rest of their holiday in a tour bus. The place shouldn't be considered as a house, it was huge, it should be called a mansion.
Your fingers gently slide across the curtains before pushing it to the side, opening up to gaze outside the window. The first thing that caught your eyes is the sparkle of the lake that's being reflected by the sun. Its flickering light rays shine in your eyes, making your eyes squint.
Faint knocks on the door interrupted your quiet session, the door slowly opened and you see Lauren peeking through the small gap of the door. You smiled warmly at her, jotting your head to signal her to come in.
"Already done unpacking?" You asked, watching her walk towards your bed.
She nods her head enthusiastically, jumping on your bed and snuggling in your covers. "Yep, why aren't you?"
"Eh, I'll do it later." You shrugged your shoulders.
Lauren swiftly stood up from the bed, shaking her head in disagreement. "No, Y/N. You need to unpack." She told you. "Here, I'll even help you."
"Lauren, you don't have to."
"But I wanted to." Lauren replied, walking over to your suitcases. She bend her knees down and opened them causing some clothes to blow up. You haven't had the time to tidy up your things since you were told to hurry up before driving in to the place.
Lauren shook her head at you, the side of her lip curved up to an amused expression. You shrugged. "I told you not to." You said, grabbing your toiletries and head inside the bathroom, leaving her by herself.
Lauren one by one grabbed all the shirts on the floor, then folding them up and putting them back inside the suitcase, for you to easily arrange them when you transfer them to your cabinet. When she lifted the last shirt up, something caught her attention as it fell out and rolled on the floor. She paused, crawling towards to examine the object.
Lauren grasp the necklace, lifting it up to her eye level and studied it closer. Hanging on was a silver ring, indented with long swirls stretching around the rim, inside has embedded letters that she can't quite read. She lowered the ring down on the palm of her other hand, her whole life she haven't seen that kind of a ring, it was beautiful, the reflecting shine of the sun glinting in her eyes.
"Beautiful isn't it?" Lauren shot up on where she stood, startled, looking down to the necklace and towards you with a guilty look in her eyes. You slowly walked towards her, your hand softly brushing her skin as you gently take the object on her hand.
You stare at the necklace, an unknowing smile on your lips. "Its really special to you, isn't it?" Lauren asked, closely staring the side of your face.
You nod. "This is the only thing left that reminded me of my grandmother." You replied, looking up to stare at Lauren's alluring green eyes. "And the only thing I know about my father.." You paused, forcing a laugh. "I never really met my father, I don't know how old he is when he died, what he looks like, what kind of person he is. The only thing I know about him that this." You say gesturing the necklace on your hand. "This was his."
Lauren can't help but to smile as you talk, she doesn't know exactly why. Was it only because you're opening up to her a little or because when you talk about the object on your hand, she could see how mellow your face is when you talk about it and she could see the admiration in your eyes on how you take care of sentimental things.
Seeing you like that makes the ring precious to her, not only because she knows it's from your father, but how it can bring out the side of you that she never seen often.
You turn your attention back to Lauren, catching her staring it you. You looked deeper into her eyes, it was so mesmerizing, so hypnotic. That deep shade of her emerald eyes always make you feel lost at the sight.
"Did anyone ever told you you're beautiful?" You blurted out, it was like your lips has a mind of its own.
You can see a hint of blush appeared on Lauren's cheeks up close, she slowly shook her head. "Impossible," You said. "You have thousands of fans, don't tell me they still haven't told you you're beauiful, not even one."
"But not this close.." Lauren muttered quietly, her breath hitting the side of your cheeks. "And looking at me like that.." She leaned closer, her eyes switching from your eyes to your lips.
At that moment you know to yourself that you want to kiss her, and for sure she wants to kiss you too. But it was as if everything you possess had ways to control you. Before you know it, you're already few inches away from her, your fingers pinching her cheeks.
You smiled at her. "Well, you do." You told her. "And don't forget that Lauren, even if somebody tells you that you aren't."
You saw brief disappointed look on Laurens features, she forced a smile nodding her head. "I uh..better help the other girls..." She mumbled. Lauren walks past you but jolted backwards when you clasp your hand around her wrist.
Lauren looked at you in surprise. "Can I.." You trailed off for a moment, having second thoughts about what you're going to say. "..can I hug you?.."
Lauren stared you for a moment then slowly nod her head. You swiftly wrapped your arms around her waist, your chin resting ontop of her head while she wrapped her arms above your hips.
You wanted her, never in your life felt something like this before, felt so drawn to someone that all you wanted is to make them yours. But she was taken, and the worst of it all is that she was taken by your brother. A person whom you don't want to be related with but it was unfortunate that you are.

The pen you're dragging leisurely across the paper is the only sound emitting inside the room. As the sun sunk down behind the mountains and vast of trees, you still haven't gone out of your room since Lauren left. The twin's been knocking on your door from time to time that it is already making you sick of the sound.
"What?!" You snapped, whipping your head to the side.
"Good gosh, I thought you're dead in there." You hear Troy's muffled voice behind the door. "I've been knocking for ten minutes, the girls and Gio are getting worried."
"Then tell them I'm alright, I just wanted to be alone," You told him. "Don't worry about me."
Troy silently groaned, leaning his forehead on the door. "I always thought that you're already changing..." Troy mumbled to himself.
Troy layed his palm on the door and pushed his body away from it and lazily descended down the hallway. He contemplated for a moment, it's the beginning of december and yet he still haven't got the chance to ask Ally out on a date, he heard that she likes him, hell, she even said she loves him, but there was something at the pit of his stomach that said he was mistaken, so he still doesn't have the courage to ask Ally out.
"I don't know Mani..." Troy paused in his tracks and retraced his steps when he heard Ally's voice came from the small crack of the door he passsed by.
He slowly peeked through the cracks, his eyes catching the small glimpse of Ally's worried look as she talked to Normani beside her. "....should I give up on Troy? I love him so much but..it seems like I-"
Troy shot back and leaned on the wall beside the door. What was he going to do? It seems like Ally's about to give up her feelings for him. He slowly and quietly moved away from the door and jogged down the hall making a sharp turn to the left.
"Woah-" Troy felt his body bumped into something, or someone. He looked in front of him when he heard the other person groaned in pain, and saw Camila rubbing her forehead.
"Camila!" Troy immediately stood up and helped up Camila back on her feet. "Sorry about that." He chuckled awkwardly.
"It's alright.." Camila groaned, making Troy feel slightly guilty. "Why are you in a hurry anyways." Camila asked.
"Nothing... I uh-" Troy stuttered. "I was exercising!" He exclaimed jogging in place. "Since we've been stuck on road everyday, I never got the chance to work out."
Camila looked at him suspiciously. "Yeah right," She rolled her eyes. "Anyways, there'll be two special persons coming to visit and they'll arrive in about a few minutes. I want you and your band to behave, okay?"
Troy snorted. "What was that suppose to mean?" He crossed his arms to his chest, eyeing Camila. "We're always on our best behavior."
"Best behavior?" Camila snorted. "Seriously? Last time we had a visitor, they left with a horrified face with a strange white goo on their shoulders."
"Hey, it's their fault. They went inside my room without permission." Troy explained.
"Just please, Troy." Camila groaned. "Behave."
"Look who's talking, you're not even behaved yourself." Troy countered.
"If you behave, I'll give you a reward." Camila offered.
Troy moved closer to Camila, his face turned serious. "What reward are we talking about?"
"I'll buy you two packs of Oreo's"
"And soy milk." Troy added.
"No, two packs of oreo's is enough." Camila said, annoyed.
"Well then good luck." Troy shrugs preparing to leave.
Camila stopped him, groaning. "Okay okay, two packs of oreos and a soy milk."
Troy grabbed Camila's hand and shook it. "You got yourself a deal, Monkey." Camila hit him on the stomach with her free arm. "Ouch! what was that for?"
"Only Y/N can call me that."
"Okay okay," Troy rubbed his stomach. "Damn, you hit like guy."

Troy entered the living room and instantly all eyes on him. He took a seat next to his brother on the couch, sighing, resting his feet on the center table while his arms rest at the back of the couch. Sergio raised his brows at him.
"What?" Troy asked, his eyes switching back and forth from his brother to the two girls, who is looking at him as well. "Is there something on my face?"
"No," His brother looked at him in disbelief. "We asked you to check on Y/N, now how's she?"
"She's fine." Troy replied waving his hand. "She said she wanted to be alone for a moment and she'll be alright."
Sergio clicked a tongue. "This is bad Troy, I always thought that Y/N's changing little by little."
"I thought so too." Troy replied sighing.
Normani and Ally entered the room, walking towards the other two of their band mates. Sergio watched Ally for a moment, rubbing his chin with his finger trying to study her. He looks towards his twin.
"Did you already asked Ally out?"
Troy shook his head. "No, not yet."
Sergio slid his hand on his brothers back and pushed him forcefully on his feet. "Hey! You and Camila are really right for each other, you know that?!" Troy huffed. "You two had the habit of hurting me."
Sergio rolled his eyes at his brother. "Just ask her out already." He said, pushing his brother even further to the girls using his foot.
Troy slapped his foot away. "Alright alright, jeez. You're impatient than the one who's going to ask."
"Just go there already." Troy rolled his eyes as he heard his brother mutter.
Troy turns his attention to Ally, taking a deep breath then sighed, determination flashing in his eyes. He begins to walk towards her, his heart thumping nervously in his chest, it wasn't even that hot yet he can feel the sweat crawling down from his temples.
"A-.. Hey um..Ally." Troy stuttered, getting the attention of the girls when he paused infront of them.
Ally gave him a warm smile. "Yes, Troy?" Troy's cheeks flushed at the sight of Ally's smile. He was almost at dazed seeing it.
"I- uh..I was wondering if we co-"
"Ally!" Troy was cut off by Camila running inside the room yelling for the small latina. Ally looked towards Camila and saw someone she never expected to see thousands of miles away from where they're at the moment.
Camila smiled in triumph seeing Ally's reaction, she looks back. There entering the room was a tall guy, blonde, that seemed so familiar like you've seen him in a telivision.
"Oh." Lauren muttered.
"My." Normani's lips parted.
"f*****g god." Dinah bluntly said.
"T-troy..." Troy's eyes rolled over towards Ally, seeing her with tears forming in her eyes, he was confused. She wasn't looking at him when she said that
Troy's eyes moved back and forth from Ally to the guy who came with Camila. He watched Ally run towards the guy welcoming her with open arms. He gulped, what the hell was happening?
Ally latched on the boys body, wrapping her arms around him for a warm embrace. "I missed you so much Troy." Ally muttered, tears flowing down from her eyes.
The sight broke Troy's heart, he really was mistaken. His vision blurred, turning around as tears broke out of his eyes. He laughed at himself, why would Ally even like him? He was just a pathetic, immature boy in a band who just started months ago. He shook his head, chuckling. It wasn't him they were talking about, it was that boy, who just coincidentally had the same name as him.
"Oreos..oreos..oreos." Troy chanted to himself, huddling the snacks closer with his arms as he ambled down the hallway. "There's no way Y/N would decline these, who doesn't like oreos anways?"
"Don't worry about Troy...." Troy paused on his tracks hearing his name, he looked back.
Troy tiptoed towards the girl's room, leaning his back flat against the wall while his eyes peeked through the gaps of the open door. His brown orbs scanned the room, seeing the girls huddled around in the middle of the room, all of their attention on Ally.
Ally raked her hair to the side, sighing, she looked back up again. "What am I suppose to do?"
"Just forget his non sorry ass and go on a date." Dinah replied. "I'll even find you a new man better than him."
"Chee chee, that's mean." Camila said. She looked back to Ally, placing her hand over Ally's. "That's not true Ally, maybe Troy's just waiting for a right time."
Troy's brows arched, right time? Do the girls already know that he has a crush on Ally?
Dinah scoffed, looking at Camila. "Don't teach our friend to be stupid because of a guy, wallz." She turns to Ally. "Look here smallz, if that guy really likes you, he should be the one making an effort, not you."
Troy's eyes shot wide. Oh s**t. They know.
Lauren nod her head at Dinah, while Normani rubbed Ally's back. "Why do you always try and be patient about this things?"
Ally shook her head. "Because I love Troy." Ally looked at her Friend's faces. "I love him and that what love is all about, even if it hurts me this much, I still Love Troy."
Troy's lips parted in shock. He slowly moved backwards as his hand tries to cover up his open mouth from the amount of snacks in his arms. His heart gunned in his chest, never in his life that he made this reaction when knowing someone likes him.
Troy absent mindedly tightened his arms, causing some scrunching noise from the plastic wrappers that could get the girl's attention. Troy hurried away from the door, bolting down the hall not caring the noise he's making, as long as the girls won't know that he was eavesdropping.
Meanwhile inside the Fifth harmonie's room, the girls continued on with the discussion, Dinah being the negative to talk about the person they're discussing about. She was like that not because she wanted to destroy her friend's relationship with her boyfriend, it's because she knew Ally deserved more than what she's being treated.
Dinah rolled her eyes. "Then go, if that's what you want." She waved off with her hand. "But that doesn't mean I still approve your relationship with Troy uglytree."
Ally frowned. "Ogletree." She corrected.
"Whatever." Dinah shurgged.
Normani looked at Dinah incredously. "How could you say that when you're the very first one who pushed Ally on dating Troy."
"Well because I thought he'll treat Ally right." Dinah replied. "Now I'm regretting it."
Lauren shook her head. "Then I guess you learned something this time, Dinah."
"And what is that?" Camila asked for Dinah.
"That don't push someone to do something and regret it afterwards." Lauren answered.
Troy realized that maybe he shouldn't have eavesdropped back then, because if he didn't, he wouldn't assume, he wouldn't give himself a false hope and lastly, he wouldn't feel like s**t right now.

A loud sigh escaped your lips, you covered your mouth, closing the door to your room shut and continued on to the living room. Where you think the twins may be, hanging out with the girls. After spending half of the day locked up, you decided it was time to get out, you were hungry and for you that's the only valid reason to get out of your room.
One person still in your mind, Lauren. You look down on your hands, hours ago you've used those hands and hugged Lauren, her body was soft and comfortably warm, thinking about it makes your heart flutter. It sucks because your brother's the only person who can touch her closer than that.
You rolled your eyes thinking about him, you shook your head. Arriving infront of the door to the living room, you placed your hand on the knob, slowly twisitng it open, ignoring the loud commotion at the other side. You pushed the door open, all eyes immediately turn towards you. Your eyes immediately landed on the twins, Sergio had his arms around Troy's arm as if pulling him away from someone.
Infront of them, at the center, stands a guy with his back towards you, curly brown hair, wearing a long sleeve polo shirt, dark pants and a shiny black shoes, a very formal looking person. As you continued on walking towards them, you can't help but to scrunch your eyes, because the closer you get to the group the more familiar you notice the guy is.
All was quiet and what made you confuse even more is the way that the twins looked at you, their eyes wide with a hint of worry. Troy opened his mouth to speak but was caught off by the boy in the center. The curly haired boy turned around, and you swear it felt like you've seen someone rised up from the dead.
Your breath hitched, staring at the person with wide eyes. Before you stood Brad, your brother that you haven't seen for over a decade, an irritating smirk plastered upon his lips.
Brad jot his chin up to you. "Hey there sis." He smirked. "Never expect I'd see you again."
