Your eyelids slowly fluttered open and came face to face with nothing but darkness. You heave out a sharp breath, looking around the room as if looking for a sign of movement. It was already night time, the moon glowed its silver rays shining through the panes of your glass door, that you didn't shut its blinds due to laziness. You use one of your elbow to move and push your body up from your bed, but something was keeping you down from the side.
