~CHAPTER FORTY EIGHT~ My skin feels hot and so sticky. Like the room is still clinging to me. I don’t think twice. I quickly clean up the mess i made in the room. After cleaning, I head straight to the bathroom and step into the shower. Warm water hits me instantly, sliding down my shoulders, my back, washing away the recklessness, the heat, the mess in my head. I close my eyes and let it run, breathing slowly until my pulse settles. By the time I step out, wrapped in a towel, I feel clean again. Reset.
