“Where’s Vaughn?”
After idling for I don’t know how long, I blinked a few times when I heard Clara asked that. Nasa harap ko na pala sya at hinawakan nya pa ako sa balikat ko to get my full attention.
“H-ha?”
“Sabi ko, where’s Vaughn? Kanina pa sya umalis, ah?” Nagtataka na tanong nya as she looked around as well.
Napa lunok ako at umiwas ng tingin kay Clara.
The truth is, when I realized that it was Zoey, hindi ko na sila nasundan ng tingin. They got lost in the crowd. Hindi ko na alam kung nasaan na si Vaughn, si Zoey or kung magka sama pa rin sila. I just… idle there. Na blank ang isip ko until Clara asked me that.
