Ellies's Point of View
As soon as we landed, Alexus immediately helped me to get down from the back of Satyr.
"We're here" he said.
I roamed my eyes around the place, and I find it so magical. Long tailed birds that has different kinds of colors on its body. Pixies, dragon flies. The trees are tall and has different colors on its leaf. The flowers are blooming beautifully and the smell are so intoxicating.
What a real paradise.
"Loving the view, my lady?" Alexus said.
I turned my back at him, and was shock to what I saw.
Alexus is standing beside the dragon and is tapping his hand on its wing.
"W-what are y-you d-doing?!" I said in horror.
"You could get hurt or be eaten!" I added.
He just laughed at me before looking at the dragon. Alexus is still caressing its wing
I gulped.
"Don't worry, he's kind. His name is Nexus. He's the protector of the whole land of Mermarians. He's well-tamed" Alexus explained.
"Come. Touch him" he said gesturing his hand at me
My eyes grew wider in fear. I immediately shooked my head as a No. But Alexus is persistent, he doesn't want no for an answer.
I sighed in defeat and I walked slowly towards them while looking directly to the dragon's eyes.
"T-that won't eat me, r-right?" I asked hesitantly.
"No. He only eats enemies"
My eyes widened and immediately took a big step back.
Alexus then grabbed my hand before speaking,
"Relax, Ellies. Nexus won't harm you. And, I am here. You have nothing to worry" Alexus smiled.
And after I saw his smile, it's like, all my fears had slowly disappeared. I took a deep breath and started to walk in their direction again without breaking my stare at Nexus.
I slowly lifted my arm to reach him and he bent down his head so I could reach him. My hands were trembling as I pat his head.
"Just calm down, he feels when you are afraid of him."
I closed my eyes as I calm myself, and after feeling that I am already calm, I opened my eyes again and slowly stroked his head again.
"Wow" I was amazed to how smooth Nexus's fur was.
"See? He's gentle." Alexus said smiling.
This dragon is not as monstrous as it looks like just like at the movies, though it has two horns on its head, its color is magnifecent to look at. It has blue and white color, he has a black cape with an eagle embroidered in it. A royal dragon indeed.
Nexus's eyes are deep as well as its black color. Its feet had sharp nails. That anyone, or whatever he scratches on, I am sure will die immediately because of the depth caused by its nails.
"He's so soft" I complimented.
"Yes. Yes, he is" someone commented out of nowhere.
I roamed my eyes all over the place to see where that voice was coming from. Suddenly a man with a long white hair came out. In his right hand, he held a rod with a circle that looked like it's glowing.
"Phoenix." Alexus called.
"It's been a long time. How are you?" he added.
"I'm doing great, Alexus. Hmm? Who do we have here?" Phoenix, asked.
"This is Ellies. The-" I cut off what Alexus is going to say by holding on his wrist.
He looked at me in confusion. I looked back at him, and put on my don't-tell-him-who-I-am look. He smiled and looked at Phoenix.
"The?" Phoenix asked impatiently.
"Oh. I'm sorry. This is Ellies ... Eínai sýntoma na eímai nýfi." She's my soon to be wife
I immediately looked at Alexus in confusion after he said those. Alexus gazed at me before revealing his sweetest smile.
"Sýntoma na eísai nýfi ... Really, ha? I don't believe you, Alexus."
Phoenix said with a sarcastic smile, but Alexus remained smiling sweetly.
"Then don't. I don't owe you an explanation anyway"
Alexus's last word before pulling me closer to him and walked past Phoenix
"It is nice to meet you, Alexus's sýntoma na eísai nýfi" Phoenix said while smirking.
