"Leo, you believe me, right?" Ruby hugged Leo's arm, pouting her mouth with a happy grin plastered on her face. She shot me a challenging glare and said, "You're clearly framing me! Leo would never believe you!" After she said that, she let out a scoff, then turned away from me to fix her gaze on Leo.
My gaze was also fixed on Leo, hoping that he would believe me. To be honest, I had no idea who Leo actually believed in. I had just got into an argument with him, and Ruby was his fiancée. This possibility of him trusting me was too small. However, I still held out some hope that he would pick me. I didn't want Leo to think I was a liar.
