"Where are you going?" Just as I walked past him, Leo grabbed my wrist. "I will deal with it for you. Don't act rashly."
"I know, but..." He couldn't stop me as I rushed out of the door. "I can resolve this myself."
After asking for direction to Leander's office, I stalked there angrily.
"Wow, Leander, you really are a jerk, huh? I didn't think you would have it in you to do something like that." After I opened the door, I flung the newspapers onto him.
I pointed at him in fury and shouted, "We were married for years! How could you treat me like this?"
"Pauline, shame on you!" Leander slammed the table as he yelled, "You knew that Leo Gray was my boss and you didn't tell me! You've caused me to lose my promotion! Are you happy now?"
