"What?" My voice went up a few octaves. I had not processed what Leo just said.
"I have evidence that Leander is embezzling company funds," Leo repeated.
"Pauline, I'll send the evidence to you later. You can decide what to do with it." Leo smiled gently and didn't say anything else about it.
After we finished lunch, Leo had someone send the evidence over to me. I thought long and hard about what to do with the documents in my hand.
If this was handed over to the police or the prosecutor's general office, Leander would definitely be punished. Looking at the evidence, it seemed like the amount of funds Leander had embezzled was rather large. If I submitted this evidence to the police, the lightest punishment he would endure was jail time.
