The Earl, grateful that Anne did not despise him for his s****l preferences as some women had done, was happy to escort Anne around the court and introduce her to some of his friends and relations. One of them was his sister, Lady Claire, whose s****l habits were the complement of her brother’s. Whereas he found pleasure in submitting to women, being ordered to commit various “unmanly” acts, as they were generally considered, his sister liked to take charge of men and treat them exactly as her brother liked to be treated.
