(Ry's POV)
I took control over Ace as soon as I saw the blackish red blood trickling slowly out of my mates nose and mouth. Why is mate hurt? What should I do? How do I help mate? All I wanted to do was kill that witch. She allowed mate to get hurt, but instead Oliver handed me mate. Not that I am complaining, but I want revenge. I am now currently laying with mate on the hospital bed. Ace has tried to get control back from me, but I refuse. I won't leave mate, he can't protect her like I can. He failed our mate.
'Give me control back, Ry.' Ace states through gritted teeth in frustration. You can hear the annoyance in his tone too. But he failed mate, I won't fail mate.
'No I won't, if you keep fighting I'll block you out. You failed mate, you don't deserve her, but I do.' I say to him.
