Mindfulness refers to a state of focused awareness, where you intentionally pay attention to your thoughts whereas presence on the other hand, is more about being grounded in awareness itself. A state of being engaged and connected to the present moment.
Thing you can do to be more mindful and present:
1, Meditation- Practice mindfulnes meditation or required relaxation.
2, Awareness- Cultivate awareness of your thoughts, emotions and actions.
3, Presence- Focus on the present moment and let go of distractions.
4, Build meaningful relationships- Building meaningful relationships is very vital in today's life as you must have real connections with people who can value and support you.
1, Communication- Practice active listening and express yourself clearly. e.g Assertiveness
2, Empathy- Understand and appreciate others' perspectives.
3, Connection - Nurture relationships with people who support and uplift you.
Purpose is the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists. So do a thorough research and find your purposes. There is so much to life... probably more than what you think.
So you've reached the end of this amazing book ð. You are probably asking yourself... How am I going to achieve all these things? Knowing humans, you will probably wish to get started but you are just too lazy. You'll just procrastinate until the end of the year. Anyways enough with complicated stuff like humans. How are you going to achieve all of this and find your way to everlasting happiness? First thing first. PRIORITIZE your happiness. Put yourself first. You should always come first before any one else. Even though some people might criticize you and say you are selfish. It's okay. It's your life after all. Screw them! Who cares? You are not perfect. You were crafted with perfections and imperfections. I mean after all, nobody is perfect. The second one is to get out of your comfort zone. Do brave and fearless things. But not risky things!!! I know you! Do new things, try new things. Start a new hobby or something. I mean you never know what you can do unless you try. Another thing, be compassionate and understanding with yourself and others
Stop judging yourself harshly each time. We are humans we all make mistakes. We all have bad days. It's just up to you on how younchoose to react to them. Learn how to say NO! I seriously can't believe a word made up of two alphabets can be so difficult to pronounce. Sometimes we go on our way out to please others while neglecting our own needs and wants. Learn to say no in an assertive but polite manner. It will save you from lots of unnecessary problems. Practice self-love. Self- love is something that you have to enrich and nurture in order to become the best versions of yourselves. How can you be the best version of yourself when you don't love yourself and others? Even the Bible says that "LOVE is the most precious thing in the world".So practice it. Travel and see new places. Go out with your family and friends. Just enjoy yourself and celebrate yourself... responsibly so. Try recreational activities. Go bungee jumping now and then. The list goes on...
Lastly but not least...
Be kind and compassionate to yourselves. Kindness goes a long way. Treat others in the manner that you would like to be treated. After all, " It takes two to tango". Treat yourself and others with respect
