**Gage POV**
Everyone’s ears were suddenly ringing loudly, bringing many to their knees in pain. I stood in the shed with Ember’s uncles, all of us covering our ears trying to stop the sound. “What the hell was that?” I growled as soon as the sound stopped. Running out into the yard. My wolf was pissed, fighting me for control. Nothing seemed out of place though. No strange scents, no sign of intruders, nothing. Stormy was running across the yard towards us screaming, panic spread across her face, “Ember! Ember is gone!” She ran straight to Bo, tears streaming down her face. “I-I-I don’t know what happened. There was this awful sound and I ran upstairs to check on Ember. When I reached the bedroom, I couldn’t get the door open. When the sound stopped, the door opened, and Ember was gone.”
