**Ember POV**
I was asleep. That’s what it felt like at first. Surrounded in complete darkness and silence. It was peaceful. I had no pains and no worries. I wasn’t sure how long I had been in this state, there seemed to be no sense of time here either, but a blinding light appeared. It seemed to be softly calling my name. Beckoning me towards it. I watched as it slowly engulfed me until I couldn’t see anything but it around me. It swallowed me whole, but I wasn’t scared. I felt at home in its presence.
