Gage POV:
I carried Niko out by the scruff of his neck away from my mate and pups. Once out in open, Niko began fighting back. He knew death was coming. He wasn’t as strong as he used to be, but he was still fast and thanks to the many battles he has been in he still knew how to fight well. I had been so caught up in getting my revenge on Niko I didn’t even see Bo exit the underground cells with Ember. “Alpha Gage!” he yelled at me. When I turned to look at my mate Niko took advantage of the distraction and bolted away. I was covered in blood, some mine and some his. It was enough to make anyone think there had been a murder, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. I rushed to Ember’s side to hear that this had thrown in her into labor.
