Chapter 29 – The search
"I'm sure you could do a better job, but right now I only care about my wife... I am in a bit of a rush" I ignore my uncle pulling out my gun and walking into the motel ahead of him. I was not sure if there were more of those thugs around, I needed to be on guard.
"God you’re such an asshole like your father and that’s not a compliment by the way. I mean it as an insult..." he groans behind me but follows me anyway.
I do not respond, if I could be half the man my father is I would be happy. My father has loved my mother from the second he laid eyes on her; he taught me what it meant to love your wife and how to protect your family so if I could be anything like him, I would be happy.
