“Where are we going, Manuel? This isn’t the route to my home,” Catalina said as Manuel turned to a road she did not recognize.
“I’m taking you to my home, Piedra. I will be able to take care of you better there and I have staff that can take care of you should I get tired,” Manuel answered with a chuckle. Catalina shook her head with a smile on her face.
“I know you want to take care of me. So, today I will not argue with you. However, I need to go home to get some things. I don’t have clothes or toiletries at your place remember?” Catalina replied looking at him as she smiled.
“Very well then. Let’s go to your place first and then back to mine where you will spend your leave. Who knows, it could end up being your home too,” Manuel said as he looked at her with loving eyes.
