As they sat in the breakfast cafe waiting for word from Miguel and Antonio, the hours seemed to stretch on for longer than usual. Catalina's heart was still quite heavy with worry. She was worried about the safety of the little helpless child who depended totally on her. How could she protect her from the dangerous world of her father?
