As the sun rose in the sky the next morning, casting its golden rays upon the world, signaling the start of a new day, its gentle light filtered through the closed curtains of Catalina’s room as if beckoning her to wake up from her sleep. Just as the rays of sunlight spread across the room, a soft knock echoed on Catalina’s door. Tina opened the door slightly and looked inside before opening it wider to enter. Catalina seemed to be enjoying her sleep and she did not notice Tina enter. “Rise and shine, Catalina dear,” Tina sang, opening the curtains and letting the sunlight flood into the room.
