Chapter 3

When Neo, Ella, and Draco arrived at Timber Wolf Pack territory, they saw how the borders were heavily guarded. The warriors bowed at them when they passed the gate.

"Jakobe must be losing his temper again." Neo said.

"Just like you when you're still the Alpha of Timber." Ella said.

"It's different now. Rouges were more cooperative before but when Aziel and Jianna were killed, everything's changed." Neo said remembering his bestfriend who was the Alpha of another pack, the Red Wolf Pack.

"I agree with you. They will do everything especially, Jianna, to make things right and to have peace between the wolves and the rouges." Ella's voice quivered remembering her bestfriend too.

Neo and Ella both deeply sighed. They missed Aziel and Jianna so much but there's nothing they can do. The two most kind and well respected Alpha and Luna by the rouges were already dead. They can only hope that one day someone will come and continue what Aziel and Jianna started.

There are three known strongest packs in Eurasia. Timber Wolf Pack, Red Wolf Pack, and Tundra Wolf Pack.

Timber Wolf Pack was previously led by Neo as the Alpha and his Luna was Ella. They had two sons, Jakobe and Draco. When Jakobe turned eighteen, Neo passed his Alpha crown to his eldest son because Ella got pregnant and he wanted to be at his wife's side every time because she's having difficulty in bearing their youngest.

Red Wolf Pack was led by Alpha Aziel and his Luna Jianna. They had a daughter and Jianna was bearing a son when they were brutally killed by someone who is unknown to everyone up to now. Aziel and Jianna's bodies were found but their daughter's body was missing and nobody knew what happened.

Zyair and Zhuri are the Alpha and Luna of Red Moon Pack now, Zyair was the Beta of Alpha Aziel and it was the Beta's responsibility to rule the pack when the Alpha is gone.

Tundra Wolf Pack is under Alpha Truett who has the same age with Jakobe. His parents were also killed by rouges and he had no choice but to step up and protect his pack.

"I don't give a damn! Kill every rouge you see! They've cause enough trouble for everyone! Alpha Truett was hurt badly because of them. I don't want it to happen again! Do you understand!?" Jakobe's voice thundered all over the mansion.

"Yes, Alpha!" Karsyn, Jakobe's Beta answered then, he left to tell every warrior what their Alpha have commanded.

When Karsyn was already out, he puffed the air his holding while talking to his Alpha.

Alpha Jakobe is confident but gentle, powerful but calm and composed. Among the three Alphas of the known packs in Eurasia, Jakobe is the most feared Alpha because he's just like a dormant volcano that have not erupted for a long time but when angered, he can be an active volcano that will erupt over and over again. As an Alpha, he's very strict but as a son and an elder brother, he's soft and loves his family more than his life.

Jakobe brushed his hair with his fingers. His bestfriend, Alpha Truett, was ambushed by rouges and his Beta told him over the phone that their Alpha is still unconscious even though he's been treated well enough. The doctor said that he's been hit hardly in his head and lost too much blood so the healing process will take too long even though he has the Alpha blood.

"Son." Ella called the attention of Jakobe.

"Mom." Jakobe said and stood up to welcome his mother. He smiled not wanting for his mom to worry about him.

"Where's Draco?" Jakobe asked while walking towards his mom and then, he embrace her tightly.

Ella smiled and gave his son a tight embrace too.

"Your Dad brought him to the pack doctor." Ella said. "Don't worry, he's fine. The Veterinarian told us that he just needed to see his Pediatrician for further checking." Ella continued.

"Why did you brought him to a veterinarian clinic? You should sent him to a hospital or you could have called early so I can send Gamma Jaxtyn to fetch you." Jakobe said.

"Your Dad already told you what happened, right? We panicked and all we could see is Ava's clinic." Jakobe furrowed his forehead hearing an unfamiliar name.

"Ava is the one who treated Draco. And she'll be here tomorrow with her friend!" Jakobe saw her mom's excitement and he sighed.

"Mom, I don't think it's a good idea to have a human visitor right now." Ella looked at her son intently.

"Is everything okay, Son?" Ella asked. Jakobe deeply sighed.

"No, Mom. I will be honest with you but don't think too much, okay?" Ella is a worrier and Jakobe knew that if he tell his mother that the problem with the rouges is giving him a headache, she will worry about everything. When Ella nodded, he spoke.

"Alpha Truett was ambushed the other day and until now, he's unconscious." Jakobe said and Ella's eyes went wide.

"How did it happened? Is he okay? What did the doctor said? You should fetch him and let him stay here." Jakobe knew that this will be the reaction of his mother.

Jakobe and Truett grew up together. They've been brothers ever since. Jakobe was loved by Truett's pack and same with the latter. Timber became Truett's second family since his parents died.

"I planned to visit him and stay there for a few days. I'll ask Dad if he's okay with it. Beta Karsyn and Gamma Jaxtyn will be here while I'm gone. I ordered a twenty four seven warriors roaming around the borders. I ordered them to kill every rogue that will try to break into our territory." Jakobe said.

"You should stay here. What if they planned an ambush for you too?" Ella said with a worried face.

"I'll be fine, Mom. I'll bring with me some warriors of the pack. Besides, Truett needs me." Ella sighed from what Jakobe have said.

Ava is already preparing to go to sleep when her phone rang.

"Hello, Avayah speaking." Ava said.

"Hi, may I speak to Ava." Ella said that made Ava smiled.

"This is Ava speaking. May I know who's this?" Ella creased her forehead and looked at the screen of her phone.

"Ava? Avayah? This is Ella." Ava smiled hearing Ella's confusion.

"Oh, hello there, Auntie Ella. My real name is Avayah, Ava for short." Ava said.

"Oh, I see. I thought I dialed a wrong number. By the way, I have bad news for you." Ava felt anxious on what Ella have said.

"Oh my god! What happened to Draco? Is he okay? Did I do something that made him worst?" Ella giggled hearing Ava's words.

"Don't worry, Draco's fine. The Pediatrician told us that his perfectly normal. It's just the weather that causes him to fell ill." Ella heard the deep sighed of Ava.

"I thought something happened to him. So what's the bad news you're going to tell me?" Ava asked.

"Something came up and the bad news is that your visit here will be postponed. I'm sorry." Ella didn't saw how Ava smiled widely.

It's not that she don't want to come. It's just that there might be emergencies that needed her attendance and because she gave a two day vacation for Denisse, she should be at the clinic for the weekends.

"Oh, that's okay. We could set the visit some other time?" Ava said.

"Yes! I'll immediately call you when everything here is okay." Ella said and after saying their goodbyes, she ended the call.

Before going to sleep, Ava called Denisse to inform that the visit she made have been cancelled. She can hear Denisse tantrums and all Ava could do is to giggle.
