|Two month ago| A portal opened in the middle of a cemetery and Rebekah stepped out of it wearily. Her clothes smelt of smoke and sweat and blood covered her skin greasily. She was shaken to her core by the things which had just unfolded. She never imagined that Eleanor was going to get her powers back and that she would lose. But she did, and now, it was the middle of the night as she dropped her knees in front of the grave of her dead fiancé. She had lost. He was never coming back now. She wept in front of his tombstone as her hands grazed over his name and she finally allowed the acceptance overwhelm her that there was indeed nothing that could be done. That there was no longer a way to bring him back. She closed her eyes and all she could see was the broken look on Damien’s face
