Eleanor beamed with a wide grin when she heard the elevator bell ring through the living room of the penthouse. She and Damien were seated on the loveseat by the fireplace as they looked to their side to find Adonis and Liam stepping out of the elevator.
Neither of them had registered their presence yet.
Eleanor smirked as she nestled further back in Damien’s embrace before Liam’s gaze finally fell on the two of them, as if realizing that he was being watched.
“You guys are back.” He exclaimed, gaining Adonis’ attention as he too looked towards them with a surprised expression before his lips broke into a grin.
“We are and we come bearing news,” Eleanor spoke as she stood up, crossing the distance to hug Adonis before embracing Liam.
