My hold on Alivia loosened. “What?”
Alivia was still crying. “I can’t do it, Landon; I don’t want to. I don’t know how to rebel against the council and they’ve made their decision already.” She sniffed.
I tightened my hold on her. “Shhhh.” I shushed as I smoothened down her hair. “We’ll figure everything out. Calm down.”
Minutes later, I put Alivia on my bed to sleep and went out for another run. To say my mind was clouded was an understatement. First, Mason took my title from me and now he wanted to take my girl? What was happening?
I took another run into the forest and shortly after, I had shifted into my wolf and was power running through the forest in anger. I prayed I wouldn’t see anything on my way because my eyes saw red, I just wanted to kill. I was so angry.
