I woke up with a start, my hands automatically going to my head to massage the painful spot behind and my eyes caught Ava sitting beside me, her glasses folded and tucked in the neckline of her sweater.
“How are you feeling?” Ava asked.
I looked at her with confusion written all over my face. “What are you doing here?”
Ava looked up at me, her expression filled with concern. “You suddenly collapsed in the forest last night. You’ve been out for some time. How’re you feeling now?”
My voice was rough with sleep and I took the covers off my legs trying to stand up. “Where’s Alivia?”
