Alivia's POV
The tension in the room is palpable and heinous. Kyla twitched her lips as she took a bite of bread while watching as I stabbed gently into my meal. I had lost my appetite just like Kyla had lied earlier about but I needed to eat and stay healthy. For myself and my unborn child.
“Since that's been settled,two guards will go with you to the hospital." Mason added with a calmer voice which was quite different from the tone he used to address Kyla.
I smiled faintly and nodded.
“However you want it to be who am I to object." I said barely above a whisper to Mason who smiled with contempt.
We finished up the rest of breakfast in silence. Kyla made sure to consume all her dishes even after claiming she had lost her appetite.
