Author's POV
Alivia watched her back as she walked away. Whilst she was in an hurry to leave Ava's presence to see Landon, she wasn't that impatient, she wanted to see where Ava would go. She walked head up high like she knows her way around here. Ava didn't look like a maid. In Alivia's eyes, she looked elegant and regal, like she was a princess, something -an attitude that had smeared into her glowing skin.
“What are you doing, Alivia?” Alivia heard Janice's voice and when I turned, she was right beside me.
“What?”
“What are you doing here?” Janice asked again curiosity filling her eyes.
“Well, a maid called saying that Landon wanted to see me.” Alivia responded to which the curiosity in Janice's eyes disappeared and was replaced with confusion.
