Alivia's POV
Landon grew up tough. His life had always been tough, even now, he lives a tough life without showing how much of pain he's going through. Concealing his hurt became a life style, one he got used to.
“Well, let's call it a night.” I decided to make it all easy for Janice. She was reluctant and pushing further meant that whatever she'd tell me would probably wreck me. Not now.
“I'll tell you.” She sighed.
“Landon wasn't cursed, at least he wasn't when he was growing. The queen loved him more than Mason, her own son and this angered Mason such that he went around telling people that Landon was cursed and that's why their mother loved him more, as that was the way to make him remotely normal.” She swallowed hard. I did too. Mason wasn't a villain from yesterday
