Alivia’s POV
I banged the door viciously as I heard Mason’s step going further away from the door. I kept banging on the door till I ran out of strength and collapsed on the floor. Tears streamed down my face effortlessly as I felt a wave of déjà vu. Similar thing happened when Satchel rejected me, I was locked away for days with fear that I would run away and maybe return one day to reclaim the throne. Satchel and my sister had me locked up till then figured out what they wanted to do with me. I remembered how tiny the room was in contrast to this but I still felt claustrophobic. I scurried away to dark corner of the room in fear.
