Mason's POV
I didn't know how to react. Sooner or later Alivia was going to show up and up till now, I haven't been able to come up with a persuasive line to get her convinced that I had truly changed. I had truly changed and I regretted ever laying my hand on her.
A soft knock added more tending in the air as the presence of Alivia made the hair on my skin stand straight. I was nervous because I didn't know how these conversations would end. It could end happily as reconciliation or sadly as rejection which I feared wasn't far from reach.
“Come in.” I said inviting Alivia into my room while adjusting my shirt to make sure I looked good. A small smile beautified my lips adding some final touches as Alivia's body came into eyeshot
